I think it can be important to put artwork in the eye of the public but it's not necessary to. Art can be just as amazing if it's not published in a place where it gets a lot of attention but I think what truly makes art the most moving for a lot of people is the environment in which it is in. When you go to a museum they have artwork arranged in different kind of set ups. The museum sets a mood by putting similar styles and pieces together. With Banksy's art he picks locations that add to his artwork by setting a mood.
